Carlingford Choral Festival 3/12/2016

As usual, Carlingford Choral Festival was an event that we greatly looked forward to. 2016 was no exception. We had a great night, performing for 40 minutes and being very well received.
St. Peter's Nursing Home 4/12/2016
Unfortunately, a very dear friend and patient of the nursing home died and we were forced to cancel our appearance. Hopefully, we will make this up to the other patients before long.
The Crown Plaza Hotel 8/12/2016

A worthwhile event was held in the Crown Plaza Hotel in support of Stroke victims and we were pleased to be a part of the evening. We remembered, in a special way, our past member of the team, Gerry Thompson who unfortunately succumbed to a devastating stroke 5 years ago and has been hospitalised since.
Legion of Mary Senior Citizens' AnnualChristmas Dinner 11/12/2016
We were delighted to be invited once again, to entertain the guests. It was a most satisfying event. The Presidium committee kindly allowed us to use the occasion to present various charitable organisations with our annual donations.
The organisations we chose this year were:
- The Maria Goretti Foundation
- The North Louth Hospice
-
The Oran Foundation [local]
- The Birches
-
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund
- St. Vincent de Paul [local]
- The Legion of Mary [local]
The Birches 14/12/2016
We were asked to make a second appearance at the Birches. The committee found our earlier appearance so enjoyable that they wanted to share the experience with other county branches. We were pleased to accept the invitation as, singing for those people in the early stages of Alszheimers is always a privilege.

Christmas Day Mass in Kilsaran Church 25/12/2016
The season's singing culminated in providing the music for the Christmas Mass, accompanied by Mrs. Ann Clarke, church organist. We must pay tribute to Ann, who gives freely of her time and talent to help us out at all times. A talented musician!
