Gerry is the ring leader and arranger extraordinaire. A Choir Master, community leader, and incredibly dapper in a boater, Gerry has been at the centre of a slew of musical productions including "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat", "Annie Get Your Gun", among many others. Gerry is an entertainer, educator, and the nicest man you will meet in a day's walk.
Brendan Marley
Retired from light industry. Enthusiastic golfer and supporter of Dundalk F.C. Regular guitar accompanist to the group, combining a critical musical ear with honest commentary.Brendan's guitar brings the group to life.


Philip Price
Retired detective, having worked as a garda in the Castlebellingham area in his earlier years. Came late to singing but now a regular member of the group and of the church choir. One of two beleaguered Meathmen in the group.

Joe McGee
Retired dairy farmer. At the heart and soul of the group, Joe. Secretary and P.R.O. Has initiated valuable contacts and friendships with singing groups from Switzerland and France.
Paddy Drumgoole
Semi-retired arable farmer. Well known in the area as an entertainer who likes to engage with his audience. Came up with the name 'Vintage', while watching a tractor run on a Sunday morning.


Jim Byrne
Retired sheep farmer. Has been singing and making music with his family for half a lifetime. Known as Jim the Whistler he can reproduce the calls of a hundred birds. His mastery of the harmonica adds colour to performances.Noted performer of the songs of Margaret Barry.
Gerry Giggins
Widely travelled agricultural consultant and promoter of farm tourism and education. Late vocation to the group, now fully integrated and serious contender for many of the solos.


Denis Brennan
Retired farmer and farming spokesman. Keenly interested in farming politics and economics. Has an eye and an ear for the funny side of life - even of Vintage rehearsals.
Risteard Mac Oscair
Stores manager for a national retailer. Sings in a variety of styles, often to his own guitar accompaniment. Loves to entertain and does a celebrated send-up of Elvis.With the voice of a nightingale, Risteard works his magic to bring a subtlety and vitality to the group.


Dónal Synnott
Retired director of the Botanic Gardens and keen gardener. Diehard Meath supporter. Plays guitar, mandolin and recorder when required. Tonic solfa school lessons finally paying off. Treasurer of the group and custodian of the funds collected and distributed to various charities.
Gomaris van den Maagdenberg
Working chef. Originally from the Netherlands but was happily kidnapped to Castlebellingham more than thirty years ago. Loves to sing and yodel and can hit the high notes. Strums the tenor banjo occasionally.
